The annual Puerto Vallarta Restaurant Week which takes place from May 17-31 is also scheduling a very special 3 day event March 25-28, 2012 to coincide with the Tourism Tianguis being held in Puerto Vallarta this year. The Puerto Vallarta Restaurant Week, is normally held May 15-31 and will go forward as usual. This special 3 day Restaurant Promotion where local restaurants offer a 3 course meal for a very special discounted price is a growing attraction for visitors in May and you can now enjoy the same amazing discounts and menu options from March 25-28, 2012. This is a perfect opportunity for all those attending the Tourism Tianguis to have a chance to enjoy the best of Puerto Vallarta’s acclaimed gourmet restaurants at amazing values. The Riviera Nayarit Tourist Tianguis for Mexico being held at International Convention Center and is a major coup for Puerto Vallarta as the Tourism Tianguis have previously always been held in Acapulco and will make Puerto Vallarta the focus of many tourist related groups.

According to the Riviera Nayarit Conventions & Visitors Bureau’s Managing Director, Marc Murphy, Restaurant Week is a great experience for the Banderas Bay region, not only because of the substantial discounts offered by participating restaurants, but also due to the broad variety of menu options designed for this culinary event. This is why, once our destination was decided upon for the upcoming Tianguis Turístico México, Restaurant Week became an ideal vehicle for showcasing the vast gastronomic options found in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit area restaurants to event participants.
